About BilledWeight

BilledWeight is a set of free calculators for people who ship: online sellers checking what a box will be billed at, and importers working out how much fits in a container.

Carrier rules change quietly and cost real money. The July 2026 USPS switch to a 139 divisor raised the billable weight of many boxes by about a fifth overnight. We keep each carrier's rule in one place, apply it exactly, link to the source and date the last check. See the methodology.

How the site is funded

The calculators are free. The site may show ads and link to shipping software through affiliate links, which are always labelled. Neither affects the numbers.
